1. Nature of Services
The Savvy Investor provides structured property consulting, deal analysis, and strategic partnership facilitation. We are property specialists who provide data-driven insights to help you make informed real estate decisions.
2. No Financial Advice Disclaimer (FAIS Act)
Not Financial Advice: The information provided on this website and during consultations is for educational and strategic property purposes only. It does not constitute "Financial Advice" as defined in the South African Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act.
Independent Verification: We strongly recommend that you consult with a certified financial planner, tax professional, or legal advisor before committing significant capital to any property deal.
Risk Acknowledgment: All real estate investments carry inherent risk. Past performance in the national markets is not a guarantee of future returns.
3. Strategic Partnerships & "Partnering Up"
Role as Facilitator: The Savvy Investor acts as a bridge to connect like-minded investors. We do not manage your funds, nor do we act as a deposit-taking institution.
Due Diligence: While we vet the "deals," each partner is responsible for performing their own due diligence on the other party before entering into any legal partnership or Co-Ownership Agreement.
Legal Agreements: Any partnership formed as a result of our introduction must be governed by a separate, legally binding contract (e.g., a Shareholders Agreement or Partnership Agreement) drafted by a qualified attorney.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, deal analysis frameworks, and strategy materials provided by The Savvy Investor are the intellectual property of the firm. You may not redistribute, sell, or copy our proprietary "Structured Consulting" models without written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Savvy Investor and its founder shall not be held liable for any financial losses, damages, or unsuccessful property outcomes resulting from the use of our advice or website content. The final decision to invest rests solely with you, the investor.
6. Fees and Payments
If you engage in our "Structured Consulting" services, fees will be outlined in a separate Letter of Engagement. All fees are non-refundable once the consulting hours or analysis reports have been delivered.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.
